Berlin May 25-28th: Karneval der Kulturen



   

Berlin's Karnival der Kulturen takes place each year during the Pfingston holiday weekend.  It is the culmination of the artistic and musical abilities of Berlin's immigrant culture.  More than 70 nations are represented with nearly 1,000 performers.

Deutsche Bahn: Non-Smoking Regulations Set to Begin September 2007



Up until now it has been a smokers paradise in the Deutsche Bahn (German National Rail System) system. There are a few non-smoking cars and many smoking cars, and plenty of cars where it's split down the middle using a small piece of plexi glass to separate the two sections; which essentially creates yet another smoking car......Uuuugh!
