Shaolin Tempel of Berlin -Day Seminars
Have you always been a fan of Kung Fu films, been interested in Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Buddhist meditation, or learning about traditional Shaolin weaponry? Berlin is lucky enough to have it's very own Shaolin temple, staffed with three Masters and one Grandmaster located in Wilmersdorf right next to U-Bahnhof Spichernstrasse on Bundesallee 215.
On Sundays for 65 Euros, generally from 10:00am to 5:00pm, the Shao Lin Tempel Deutschland offers seminars on a wide variety of topics. Just click on the tab in the left-hand column labeled "actuelles" on the temple's homepage to see up coming seminar dates and topics (sorry the site is in German).
The seminars and courses are conducted in Chinese with German translators. But one can easily follow along as most of the explanations are demonstrated physically.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:15pm and on Saturdays at 11:00am you are welcome to attend the temple's Buddhist ceremonies. The cost is free and non-Buddhists are of course welcome to join. The ceremonies focus on prayers for world peace, and the health and well being of all people.
