Not just any tourist attraction in Berlin...
One of the best things about Berlin is that you can
always find some "off the beaten path" gem. Today's
jewel, however, is hidden away on a well worn path.
One evening, while wandering around and trying to
decide what it was we wanted for supper, my pal asked
me if I had ever seen "the fishtank at the Radisson".
Why, oh but why would I go to a hotel lobby to see a
fish tank?
Well...this isn't your ordinary fishtank. You
know...the kind you had when you were nine that your
Mom had to constantly remind you to clean...
Next time you are here in Berlin, I highly recommend a
visit (if not a stay) at this centrally located
Raddison to see this fishtank! It is about 25 meters
high and about 2500 tropical fish call it home!
Incedentally, it is o-fish-ially and more appropriatly
named "the Aqua Dom". Feel free to checkout the
restaurant/bar HEat as well. It has a great view of
the Berliner Dom right across the street!
This is a real splash and not to be missed!
