Sao Paulo Fashion Week: 13th – 19th June.
Sao Paulo Fashion Week is almost upon us, it is now a regular feature of the annual fashion calendar, not only for Brazilians but on the international fashion circuit. This is the biggest fashion event in the entire continent of South America, and reportedly the 5th biggest currently in world fashion. (I guess that’s after the 4 big fashion capitals London, Paris, New York, Milan). The week kicks off tomorrow (13th June) and continues for 7 days. The majority of the shows are taking place in Ibirapuera Park, but maybe some other things will be going on in the major shopping centers as well.
If you are able to enter the main building, there will be exclusive lounges of many fashion labels, and then each label will have it’s own show at some point throughout the week, for which you will have to have tickets. I will try and report on some of the events through the week.
