Anyone who has ever sat on a high-tech Japanese toilet can relate to this hilarious video:
The band hanging out back at the hotel bathroom after playing at Club W71 in Weikersheim, Germany.
Anni Rossi, Tara Barnes, Emily Beezhold & Carla Bozulich on tour in Europe to promote Carla’s new album “Evangelista”.
I had food poisoning courtesy of the Cathay Dim Sum chinese restaurant in the Trafford Centre in Manchester, and so I spent the last night of our stay in a luxury hotel suite sleeping in a nest of towels in the bathroom.
This pic by “evilstevie”, who stayed up most of the night keeping an eye on me and helping me clean myself up every time I was sick.

Cathay Dim Sum [at your own risk]
For a hotel to be rated a Five-Star property, it takes a lot more than just incredible service.
Beds and bedding need to be of a certain discerning quality. There must be a particular array of available hotel services and amenities…and the public area bathrooms definitely need to have stall walls that come right down to the floor.
And now you know why!
“…Stayed here for 7 nights and didn’t want to leave. Fabulous hotel with an authentic balinese flavour, no bland american style hotel here. Great service with personal attention, staff are genuinely welcoming. You wont find better in Bali. Plenty of information in some other reviews, but just felt strongly enough to add to the positive ratings…[more]“

We all love those so-called bathroom “goodies”. You know - the ones that end up in your suitcase when you check out.
The Club Quarters Hotel in New York City is certainly putting a smile on one guest’s face…

This tub at the Red Rock Casino in Vegas is so comfy you don’t even need water!
This property has the potential to be a top notch resort…. IF they IMPROVE their service…seems to me, the first line in the greeting should be “Good Afternoon, Evening, are you guests at the resort? If so may I have your room key to verify? They do that to verify your entry to the pool, don’t see why that wouldn’t work at the restaurants and bars.
As for housekeeping, don’t get me started. Yes they made the bed and replaced the towels. But again, that was it. Didn’t throw out the used coffee cups(from Starbucks) or replace the water glasses in the bathroom or replace the broken ice bucket. No turndown service at all, one night they did leave chocolate on the dresser, didn’t turn down the bed tho!!! And we left a tip for our housekeeper the first day! It is that kind of stuff that keeps this property from being rated higher. Hopefully, they will fix it . The dealers were great, they were very friendly and made you feel welcome…[more]

Where else but here at HotelThrone.com can you truly get a glimpse of how the other half live?
Check out “Samantha” at Le Meridien’s stylish Beverly Hills location. It just doesn’t get better than this. And we’re glad to see that “Dark Side of the Moon” T-shirts are still worn with panache.
Be warned however: you might want to read some (less than favourable) reviews before you book your room!
