Bathroom at Hotel des Artes, San Francisco
Definitely a place to lose yourself in the artwork! We enjoyed a suite with fantastic murals that included glow in the dark paint (not in the bedroom). Street noise was not an issue and our location was great! Easy access to China Town (gate was just up the block), Union Square, and fantastic restaurants. Staff was helpful, room was clean, and price was great. Truly a work of art…[Tripadvisor]

Amenity Overload at the Jianguo Hotel, Shanghai
We stayed at this hotel for 1 week. It is an international hotel, with a caring staff. The breakfast buffet is geared towards all nationalities. Rooms are spacious and clean. Rooms have a safe in them. Walking distance to shopping, bank, restaurants & subway. Hotel has restaurants, hair salon/barber, business center, pool, etc. Concierge staff to arrange sightseeing or other amenities. We felt very safe in this area. I liked the fact that you could open the windows if you wish, too…[TripAdvisor]

Guest Submitted Business Travel Tips - No. 1
Many hotel irons dont have steam feature or are just plain lame.. ie not hot enough.
Tip No 1: use clothesline over bath to hang shirts on, place shower hose in bottom of bath facing sideways, turn on water as hot as it will go.. close bathroom door and watch TV for 10 mins.. iron shirts.. sorted.
(ps , this also doubles as Tip No. 1b: “bored in hotel room and freezing weather outside”
View-licious Shower at the Mirabel Resort, Nepal
Every traveller dreams of having the perfect view from their hotel window. Countless hotels and resorts around the world deliver on that promise - for those guests lucky enough to be in a room that features the best view in the house.
Sometimes that dream view doesn’t come from the veranda at all. If you’re lucky enough to find yourself at the Mirabel Resort in Dhulikhel, Nepal the incredible Himalayan view featured below is what you’ll see while you’re scrubbing yourself in the shower!
When Fred travelled to Dhulikhel he found himself practically alone at the Mirabel Resort due to a Maoist strike. That didn’t affect his incredible view from his bathroom window much - and most certainly ensured that he never ran out of hot water!
Thanks for sending this in Fed.
This is the view of the Himalayas, out my bathroom window which is in the shower. I watched the sunrise while showering. The resort was empty except for me as I was there in March 2006 during a Maoist strike. There were beautiful gardens and attentive staff who watched me eat.
Bathroom Spa Retreat at the Wynn Las Vegas
The bathroom was unbelievable! This was my first trip to Vegas where I barely left my room! The tub was about 6 feet long by 3 feet wide by 3 feet deep. It was like having a hot tub in your bathroom. And as if that wasn’t enough, there was a flat screen TV built into the wall for your viewing pleasure while you soak in your tub:) Last, there was a glass stand up shower big enough for 3 or more people. It wasn’t a steam shower, but it was close enough to one. This bathroom even had a huge vanity section with two sinks and a stool. It was a women’s dream bathroom!
Thanks to Christy for sending in this image!

London’s Savoy Hotel. How’s that for a Bathroom?
Fairmont’s Savoy Hotel in London is one of the world’s great hotels. Full of history, tradition and luxury - the Savoy represents the very best in British hospitality. And their WC is pretty sweet to boot.

Dental Maintenance at the Renaissance Hotel, Amsterdam
Hotel bathrooms are an entity worthy of celebration. Where else can you brush your teeth while you check out new mirror angles of your head profile while the scalding shower runs for hours without any fear of using up the hot water?
We love these images of Joanna enjoying herself in her guestroom at Amsterdam’s Rennaisance Hotel.

Even Santa has to go once in a while…
For over thirty years, it has been a tradition with our extended family that Santa appears on Christmas Eve to dole out presents for the kids. It was my turn this year after a decade’s hiatus to don the suit and sweat for an hour beside the tree.
Of course, I had to take time out to do a couple of shots in the hotel bathroom…
Bathroom Training in San Diego Hotel
Matilda and Kristen in Grandma Marge’s hotel bathroom.
Today we are happy to feature baby Matilda, featured above with Kristen. Matilda is getting some important bathroom training at a San Diego hotel. We’re pretty sure that Matilda is a little young to sit on the hotel throne, but clearly she’s not too young to learn the importance of snapping candid bathroom photographs!
Thanks Kristen. Keep up the great work!
