Night View at the Radisson Dubai

I tried a few long exposure night shots of the Radisson’s swimming pool.

“Very very trendy, very stylish, an excellent place to sit. It’s not like one of those huge hotels, you don’t feel as if it’s a big hotel when you are staying there, just seems like a hotel with 30 or 40 rooms or so. The ambience is excellent, would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially business travellers…[TripAdvisor]”

Club Dauphin Pool at the Grand Hotel du Cap-Ferrat

The French Riviera is part of France’s southeastern coast off the Mediterranean Sea, reaching from Toulon to Menton at the border with Italy. The French Riviera is regarded as one of the most luxurious, glamorous, expensive and sophisticated areas on the planet and is home to many of the world’s rich and famous.

Club Dauphin at the Grand Hotel du Cap-Ferrat is an uber-luxurious turn-of-the-century 53 room resort that caters to an elite clientele. Of course, we get the insider’s view here at HotelSplash.com.

Enjoy the incredible French Rivieran sunset at Cap Ferrat, along with the same image captured in day light.

This is a truly great and special grand hotel. I have just stayed for three days (May 2006)with my wife at the hotel. The location, on the tip of Cap Ferrat is magical, with the hotel looking down over fine gardens to the open sea. The food is superb and the service amongst the very best available.

Not being one for writing reviews, I only do so because the review of 1st July 2005 shown on these pages is, in my personal opinion, seriously off the wall. Frankly if you can get a room, you’re lucky to be able to stay and experience this hotel! [TripAdvisor]

Pool at the Edge of Singapore

The island nation of Singapore isn’t exactly known for wide open spaces. Finding the Hotel Fullerton’s outdoor urban oasis looks like time well spent. The neo-classical Fullerton Hotel was built back in 1928.

Our original room was quite small as was a corner room with a reduced floor plan but after asking we were upgraded to a Heritage room overlooking the pool which was wonderful.

Singapore was a great city to spend a few days and lots to do, hotel is well positioned to tour the city and sits in a very grand position overlooking the river and out to sea…[more]

Lombok Senggigi Hotel Pool, Indonesia

For me the worst thing about this hotel was the constant hassle from the locals. The beach is very popular with the local people, kids play in the sea, couples walk up and down and families have picnics and BBQs on the beach.

It would be really nice to try and join in but no chance…..as soon as a tourist emerges from the hotel they are mobbed by hawkers who absolutely will not go away, much to the amusement of the other locals.

Hotel Pool Reflections, Philippines

Welcome to the Sabin Resort Hotel in Ormoc, Philippines:

It’s the nicest hotel to stay in in this small town. I loved being so close to the pool area, and how we can sit on our porch and watch the sun set over the water.
