The picture of my bed (messy in the picture coz I was packing to come back to India). I miss the bed loads and that was my “i’ll miss you bed!” picture. Totally comfy bed… We dont get those in India. They are harder here. and even if we do m sure they’ll cost a bomb!! Thanks Mariott for a pleasant stay!
Thanks for sharing, Diki
Check in to the Brown Hotel in Louisville and you’ll be met with a full complement of Derby-inspired accessories and accoutrements like this throw-rug on the bed.
We love this sweet sleep set at the Hinckley Island Hotel in the U,K., but we have to wonder who matched the bed spreads with the carpet?
The bedrooms in the wing we were in were fabulous. Booked as a twin, could have slept four. Enormous comfy beds. But the carpet, yuk. Also, for some reason they only supplied 2 teabags and 1 toilet roll daily.
We took a mini-vacation on the 31st, and got up early enough to get the continental, but I couldn’t stay awake long enough to eat it (or make a last trip to the pool). I went back to sleep (with my toast) until about 11:40. For some reason, I really enjoyed having the toast there with me. Then we went and saw Casino Royale, which was awesome, and I went to work.
Housekeeping room attendants around the world are always looking for ways to entertain and “connect” with hotel guests to elevate the feeling of service. Since housekeeping staff often don’t meet the people that occupy the rooms they are cleaning, room attendants find innovative ways to remind guests that they are being taken care of. Of course it helps increase the tip as well!

Our chambermaid at The Tea Factory Hotel, Nuwara Eliya, decided to decorate our bed, using our clothes. And toilet rolls for heads!

Who the heck checks under the bed?? Apparently, I do. Found this under a hotel room bed in Cleveland OH…. They are very clean folk in Cleveland.

This is me in front of the windows in our room. We were on the 59th floor and had a panaramic view of the strip. The king sized bed, (which was the most comfortable I have ever slept on!), WAS FACING THIS VIEW! So I ended up spending a lot of time in it:)
Thanks to Christy for sending in this awesome bed view!
