Touring Amsterdam's Canals
I've visited the city numerous times and have been living here for a while, but never have I gone on one of those canal cruises. Until yesterday! I had some international visitors and we just decided to hop on one and see the city from the water!!
We chose Holland International because their canal tours were leaving every 15 minutes and did not require advance reservations. There are quite a few other companies offering similar tours for a few euros cheaper, but they have scarcer departure times. In any case it was cheap, only €11 per person for a 1 hour "100 Highlights Tour".
We saw the Amsterdam Harbour, the Opera House... the Seven Bridges, Brewer's Canal and much more... I snapped a ton of pictures!
I am definitely recommending it to all visitors. It's a great way to see the city and if you are serious about visiting many important sites you may also want to look into the Hop on and of option with a day ticket!
