L'Epicerie
Paris has so many wonderful neighborhoods where you can wander through and just lose yourself. One of my favourite is Ile St. Louis, right behind Notre Dame. This exclusive residential is great just to wander through, sit down at a cafe on do some shopping. The island has only one main street with all the shops on it.
A fun store to pop into is L'Epicerie (which means spice in English). Here you can sample numerous jams and jellies, mustards and spices. It is well worth the visit-you will not leave without a bag full of goodies. The last time I visited I came home with a berry jam with cognac.
If only I had some fresh croissants.
