Gerald Mulot
Paris without a doubt is the best city in the world for pastries. A visit to the city of lights and delectable desserts would not be complete without sampling all there is to enjoy. One could spend the day, wandering through the city sampling one type of dessert and still find the journey incomplete the following morning.
One of my favoritie pastry shops is Gerald Mulot. The store sits on the Left Bank at 76 rue de Seine around the corner from St. Sulpice church. His shop has all sorts of baked goods. Chocolate tarts, apple tarts, lemon tarts, macaroons and cakes.
You may find his prices high, but it is worth it.
The last time I visited his shop I returned home with his cookbook, in a pink cover and in French and a bag of croissants.
