Friday Night Fever: Rollerblading in Paris
If you have never witnessed this or participated in it Friday night fever is an event to be seen. Hundreds of rollerbladers with asistance and protection from the police descend upon the city on blades. The rides start at 10 p.m. at Place Raoul Dautry in the 14th arrondissement of Paris between the Montparnasse office tower and the Paris-Montparnasse train station.
The four wheeled ride will take you down hills, traversing cobblestone streets for a three hour ride of fun. At the end of the ride you would have completed about 18 km.
Even if you cannot blade, it is pretty amazing to see everyone spinning away.
