Rue Montorgueil Paris
If you enjoy wandering down a street and browsing the shops and enjoying a drink at a cafe Rue Montorgueil is the street for you.
Rue Montorgueil was first captured in Monet's painting Celebration June 03 1878. Close by to Les Halles the street started off as a market street, with horse butchers, cheese shops and bakeries. Today it is an eclectic assortment of butchers, fromageries, bakeries, and cafes. The street is only about 4 blocks long. However every merchant has seats outside on the sidewalk so you can enjoy your snack as you watch the people walk by.
It is a fun place to enjoy a coffee or drink.
