Mirama

Although French Cuisine is known as one of the best in the world and also one of my favourites, being an Asian who live here for quite a while, I long for good old Asian food. Coming from a cosmopolitan city like Bangkok, by Asian food, it doesn't necessarily mean just Thai food but the whole thing from my continent; from Chinese to Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, etc, etc...

And through friends, I've been brought to this little gem of a place, Mirama, where they serve, at least for me, the best Cantonese Food in town.

Even I who always go for ambience ignore the under decorated and under-styled interior of this restaurant. It's all off-white and NOT in a minimalist way but a simple one for they only focus on the taste and quality of food.

Expect to wait in a queue as it is always packed although there are two floors of tables. For those impatient people, the good news is that you can take away. I highly recommend the restaurant's specialty Canard Laque and also my favourite Lemon Chicken - Poulets Frits au Citron.

Sorry that I don't have food photos in my collection because everytime I go there the second the food arrives, everybody races into finishing it...

Hey Jakthong, you are from Bangkok? I actually worked there for a short while in 2005. What a fun city!

Hello! Yes, I'm from the city of angel, the land of smile. I'm glad you find it fun. It's a city full of energy. I miss it sometimes but Paris is my home now...
