Jean-Charles de Castelbajac
On Thursday after the final presentation, our dean madame Walker brought us to the Musee Galliera for Jean-Charles de Castelbajac's exhibition.
Though not a real fan of this French Marquis/designer, I adore his creativity and imagination and his absorbtion of arts. Many of his works are heavily influenced by Andy Warhol - also not my favourite artist to be honest.
Nevertheless, it was a marvellous experience of strong colours, disco music and daring designs using strange materials such as the infamous teddybear coat that, to me, reflects the idea of "ready-made" arts like the works of Marcel Duchamps which also influenced Andy Warhol.
I want that Robe France dress though... (the one with hello kitty head)
