Le Relais de l'Entrecote
Die-hard carnivores will delight at this Parisian steakhouse with locations in in the ritzy sixth and eighth arrondissements, where one's only choices are "rare, medium or well done" (unless one opts for one of the excellent desserts as well). The set menu includes succulent steaks served with the celebrated "secret sauce," along with crunchy "frites" and a salad. Neither restaurant takes reservations, so go early to head off the daily crowds.
To reach the location in the "sixieme," take the metro to Saint-Germain-des-Pres and walk a couple of blocks to rue Saint-Benoit. For the "huitieme," take the metro to Franklin Roosevelt and walk over to rue Marbeuf.
