Paris Cheap Eats --- Who says there's no such thing as a free lunch (or dinner)?

Free Couscous

Nothing reflects Paris' multicultural side like the free couscous nights held is several bars in Northeastern Paris. On Friday and Saturday night these bars are packed with hungry hipsters, students, and locals hoping to partake in North African hospitality. Buying a reasonably priced beverage entitles you to a heaping plateful of steaming couscous, which usually comes with a side of chicken. You can probably find better quality couscous elsewhere, but you'll be hard-pressed to beat the friendly atmosphere at these bars.

On Friday and Saturday nights. They start serving at about 8:30-9:00pm, but it's best to arrive early to be sure to get a table.
