Love custard? Visit Beard Papa's at the corner of Oxford Street and Berwick! This hirsute daddy makes the best cream puffs you're ever likely to taste.

By the way guys, bringing home a box of these might be a nice alternative to the standard box of chocolates for Valentine's Day.

Piada is a brilliant choice for lunch

The Zetter: best small hotel in London for 2006!



Living in central London, specifically in trendy Clerkenwell, it's rare I have a chance to peek inside any hotels, especially any in my own neighbourhood. However, attracted by the stylish look of the Zetter, my wife and I were drawn to the hotel's restaurant for dinner one night. We've been back. We have also enjoyed visiting the Zetter's bar for impressive cocktails in a casual yet elegant setting.
