For the ladies that love to shop

If you've already hit up the famous Oxford Street, try something new! Carnaby Street has a lot to offer, including big brand names like Diesel and Miss 60, but also specialty stores like B Never Too Busy To B Beautiful, a Lush Cosmetics owned boutique that sells natural make-up and perfume. Indulge yourself with a free in-store makeover with some vibrant colours and enjoy the decadent boudoir-esque decor. Head for other great locations like Kingly Court, off Carnaby Street, a charming little courtyard surrounded by shops, tucked away far from the crowds. Enjoy a cocktail whisked up at one of the swank bars, or pop into shops like Ben Sherman or Sweaty Betty. There is a vintage shop as well, that has a great selection of women's shoes and retro outfits. If you are a fashion buff, find your way to East London (Tube: Liverpool Street, Rail: Shoreditch) and walk to the Old Spitalfields Markets on a Sunday, where up and coming designers showcase their talent. Close by there is a fruit, vegetable and bicycle market at Brick Lane, and stalls where you can buy anything from cheap DVD players to pots and pans. Brick Lane is a good place to sample some authentic traditional Bangladeshi or Indian cuisine. There are lots of quirky boutiques as well, along with loads of food stalls, and cute little cafes where you can relax and people watch. Its quite a trendy area, with vibrant nightlife - venues such as the Spitz offer good food and live music, while Herbal on Kingsland Road (EC2) is great for drum and bass, house, and hip hop.
