The Zetter: best small hotel in London for 2006!
Living in central London, specifically in trendy Clerkenwell, it's rare I have a chance to peek inside any hotels, especially any in my own neighbourhood. However, attracted by the stylish look of the Zetter, my wife and I were drawn to the hotel's restaurant for dinner one night. We've been back. We have also enjoyed visiting the Zetter's bar for impressive cocktails in a casual yet elegant setting.
Apparently, we're not the only ones to appreciate this design-savvy hot spot: Visit London awarded the Zetter with Best Small Hotel in 2006.
There are, of course, plenty of other hotels in this happening area, most notably the swank Malmaison and the nookish Rookery.
