Well, I finally turned off the YouTube version of the film, "Secret Window." You know you've watched it one too many times when you can rhyme the lines off word for word, and you start wearing the same disheveled hairstyle and ratty type clothes as the lead character. Take special note of Johnny Depp's housecoat, hats and glasses; they're my favourites.
Anyhow, ...

To those people - if there are any remaining - who are avid readers of this blog, I must apologize for "going blogging AWOL." I won't abuse the word "sorry" because I think people use that word way too loosely these days. Anyhow, as for those people following along with this journal, I hope to meet you, one and all, one day as it's "always a pleasure ...

As I wait patiently for word on my truckster and all its repair glory, I thought I'd write something relevant for Copenhagen. You know, when my truck broke down yesterday I'd actually just came from a job interview? A few days before, the potential employer called me and told me not to wear perfume. They have a strict "no perfume" policy because some people might ...

I love to watch free movies. I watched two in blurry bits and pieces last weekend over there on YouTube. One was "The Secret Window" and the other legendary film being "The Shawshank Redemption." Both were worth the watch, but it would have been much more enjoyable viewing them on the big screen. The Secret Window was so good that I even watched most of it with the volume turned ...

Hey, I just read an article out of Forbe's magazine naming the world's best paid cities. No surprise is that Switzerland tops the list with an average net pay of $20.40 U.S. Dollars an hour, after taxes. Also on the list is Copenhagen, which offers workers a gross average wage of $32.80 per hour. Although, 46% ends up on the cutting room floor in the form of taxes, they are used ...

Well, today I'll be giving you some information about an upcoming event in advance, not at the last minute as I usually do. Surprise, surprise wonders never cease. First off, I have to tell you that it's been kind of a strange day today.
I made an appointment with the hairdresser to change my hair colour, yet again. I asked her if she could start frying and dying my hair at ...

There's nothing better than attending a free concert. Believe me, I know because last year I attended a Peter Frampton concert, free. This year I saw the Doobie Brothers gratis. This past Sunday I was hanging about in Waupoos land, and saw a local band, The Fade Kings for free.
Now I'm just figuring out how to see the Temptations, on the house so to speak. Any ideas please forward them asap! ...

Yesterday was a scorcher here across the pond. Gettin' my runnin' around done early was the plan, so I could live the afternoon, like a beach. First thing in the morning, I had a hankering for a tea and a bagel so I warmed up the old truckster and took a trip into the local town.
I thought because it was hot, all of the tourists would have been hanging outside ...

Is the weekend over, already? Well, birch slap me silly because I guess it is. Actually, it was pretty fun from where I'm standing from, as I made the most of it by heading up to the local "Marysburgh Pub," here in Waupoos. It's only a hop, skip and a jump from my mom's house. It was well worth the five minute walk, as it turned out to be a ...
