Hats Galore

Excuse moi for not blogging as of late but the computer has been acting a little crazy, daisy. That combined with a bout of the flu hasn't made for a pleasant past few days. I try to eat right and wear a hat when I'm outside in the cold, but still manage to catch the latest flu fad. Better now, than when we're in Thailand, I say.

Since we are on ...

Happiness is a Passport

Yippee! The Canadian Embassy in Copenhagen must be the best, most efficient Embassy in the entire world! I am simply so thrilled today because I received my passport and all of my identification via registered mail. It's just a shock, in a positive way and I am singing their praises because it took them only one week to sign, seal and deliver it all unharmed to moi.

My husband had said ...

Turning Japanese in Copenhagen

The other night I watched the TV program "What not to wear" with Trinny and Susannah. If you do not know what I am talking about it is a makeover show based in the U.K. Every week the two fashion savvy women find a fashion victim and torture and torment her. (a.k.a. make her over.)

A Gem of a Deal?

When I lived in Canada, I recall fondly watching the "Thai Gem Showcase," every once in awhile on The Shopping Channel. If you don't know already, Thailand is renowned as one of the world's leading gems and jewellery exporters and well known for the skill and experience of Thai craftsman in keeping up with international designs and standards. Rubies and even diamonds have been mined in Thailand. West of Bangkok, Thailand in Kanchanaburi ...

Sunglasses - Quality vs. Quantity

Inexpensive sunglasses - Are they worth the risk?Summer is just around the corner. It's time to break out the bathing trunks, suntan oil.....rrrr.. I mean sunscreen factor 8,000 and the coolest sunglasses you can find. I've been around the block when it comes to sunglasses and unfortunately, I've invested in plenty of lemons. Case in point, the ones I'm wearing in the photo there. In Denmark I purchased ...
