There's nothing better than attending a free concert. Believe me, I know because last year I attended a Peter Frampton concert, free. This year I saw the Doobie Brothers gratis. This past Sunday I was hanging about in Waupoos land, and saw a local band, The Fade Kings  for free.

Now I'm just figuring out how to see the Temptations, on the house so to speak. Any ideas please forward them asap! If you're in Copenhagen tonight and would like to see a free concert in the park why not head to the heart & soul of Copenhagen, that being Radhuspladsen or 'City Hall.' The concert is for a good cause, supporting the circa 60 Iraqi asylum seekers, who were removed from  their temporary digs at Brorson's Church last week. The purpose of the event is to send out a signal that there is a more humane way of dealing with asylum seekers. There will be 15 bands performing. Some of the Danish artists supporting the event are:

It all happens today, August 18th  from 17:00 to 22:00 p.m. in front of Copenhagen City Hall. (Rådhuspladsen)
