Treasure Hunting in Copenhagen
Well, I hope everyone is geared up for an exciting weekend ahead. Mine will be, I hope. It'll be a nice mix of work and play. In fact, I'm planning on making this summer "fun, fun, fun until my family takes my Ford Ranger away."
That reminds me, I'm thinking that the red, rockin' ranger will definitely need a new muffler soon. My brother told me it's sounding louder. But I choose to "hear no evil, see no evil" by turning the music up and whistling to the tunes, while zipping into town. Out of sight, out of mind, or in other words "denying it" isn't going to make it go away. Anyhow, I'll have to get that taken care of soon.
In the meantime, I'll need to rely on the old truckster, noise and all, to mosey on into town to buy some summer clothes & in particular a new sweater for my hot, outdoor dates this weekend. You see, most of my summer attire is back in Denmark, so I'll have to buy "new," to get me through the next month or so. I don't like to pay more than I have to for a summer sweater, especially when I already have some nice ones, just not here. I'll just end up with bbq sauce on it, anyhow. Therefore, I plan on rummaging through the sales racks. To me, it's just like going on a little treasure hunt.
If you are in Copenhagen and enjoy shopping 'til you're dropping, and want to find unique and well priced items, why not check out Copenhagen's flea market. Every weekend new items arrive including clothing, furniture, art, books etc. There are over 100 stands and it costs only 10 Dkr to enter and enjoy the fun.
