Smiley Kylie in Copenhagen
The delightful, dewonderful entertainer/jack of all trades Kylie Minogue is performing in Copenhagen tonight. Kylie has been a pop princess and household name over in Europe for over 20 years. American audiences might remember her for her 80's hit "locomotion."
Kylie has always appeared to be blessed in many ways with her successful career, charming personality & pretty looks. However, life is not always a bed of roses and Kylie unfortunately had a downturn a few years ago when she found out she had breast cancer.
An unexpected bump in the road, especially because she was only in her thirties at the time, enjoying a successful career. It was shocking news to most as she always appeared healthy, happy and bright eyed and bushy tailed. She has overcome as they say and is taking the bull by the horns by touring around Europe. Her latest album is called "X" which has produced such hits as Two Hearts and Wow.
I've always admired her because she keeps a lickin' and keeps on tickin' and always seems to have an onwards and upwards attitude. Besides her successful singing career, Kylie has a lingerie line, home furnishings line, has written a children's book, worked as an actress, and not so long ago made guest appearance on the popular U.K. program Dr Who...Hey, I could go on all day. She's a bit of a wonder woman. Her live shows are rumoured to be quite the spectacle with glamorous costumes, dancers, and last but not least a lively and engaging Kylie Minogue.
