S*x and the City Premiere
I generally get mailers from different airlines advertising last minute flights to here, there and everywhere. We've been talking about getting away for a few days to Paris, London or the like. I'd like to visit somewhere new. I have not yet been to Athens or Prague yet - two destinations on the "to do list" before I kick the bucket, again not that I'm planning on doing that anytime soon.
So, I just received an advert to fly to a whole list of international cities for only 600 Dkr but there's a clincher. The tickets are only one way. I have often thought it would be adventurous to take a one way ticket, destination anywhere and just wing it once I arrived, not knowing how long I'd stay or where I'd go.
Perhaps it's a bit of a dizzy dream or perhaps the summer-like weather brings out one's footloose and fancy free side. This little scenario actually reminds me a bit of an episode of "Sex and The City" where Carrie decides to drop everything and moves to Paris.
If you are fortunate enough to be living on a deserted, tropical island somewhere and are wondering what I'm talking about, of course I'm speaking of the once popular TV show about four fun loving girlfriends named Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda. These modern, single gals lived in New York City and every week battled love problems and questioned life's small and major dilemmas.
The movie which had its debut in the U.S. not too long ago has arrived here in Copenhagen tonight, and is rumoured to tie up a few loose ends by answering questions that weren't answered in the TV series.

The pre-show starts 19:00 p.m. with a Sex and the City Quiz in the Lounge. In true Sex and the City Fashion, Cosmopolitans will be available for purchase in the bar. Tickets are free for this but must be ordered in advance.
The movie starts at 20:00 p.m. and costs 75 Dkr. It doesn't look like tickets are available online anymore but try calling or if you really like living on the edge just show up at the theatre. Good luck!
