Greetings from Phuket
This will be a quick blog as I'm running out of internet time. It seems to me that our vacation in Phuket, Thailand has just zoomed by. Time flies when you're having fun, I guess. We've not had as much luck with the weather as we did last year. It has been sunny an average of two hours a day and some days it has rained the entire time. I can't say, we weren't warned as May is cyclone season, so the sun can't shine everyday.
Speaking of which, I suppose we are reaping the side effects of the cyclone that hit Burma(Myamar) a few days ago. From the sounds of it, it looks like assistance is arriving for those poor souls at a snail's pace. At least we have shelter and fresh drinking water. Well, that'´s about it for now. We are heading to the gift shop and for a stroll down the beach and maybe even a dip in the pool before the wind and rain strikes again. No, wait there's a couple who just got married getting their photos taken out by the pool. We have to go and check that out..
