Tiptoe Through the Tulips
What a lovely day again today, another beautiful day in the neighbourhood here in Denmark. It has been really nice weather, as of late. The trees are coming alive and some flowers are even in bloom, which means lots of pollen floating around. This isn't good news for more than a million hay fever sufferers in this country, including myself, but hey that's what antihistamines are for.
I was out for a stroll downtown en route to visit my dentist here. I have done the math and now I'll soon have a dentist on every continent, if I don't look out. We were talking about how awful the summer was last year, as in rainy but if the last few days have been any indication we are in for a nice summer. My dentist even had a tan from working outside, I'm still as white as snow but I have some fake, orange, streaky tanner I can throw on, if I get desperate.
I received my brand new camera yesterday and will be spending the next little while and probably much of my vacation figuring out how to use it, optimally. It smells so new and looks so pretty that I'm almost afraid of touching it. In the meantime, tonight I've been invited to the ballet at the Royal Danish Theatre.
I'm not even sure which performance it is I just said yes, I'll go. We have free tickets, so exciting. I guess I'll have to put on my Sunday's, I mean Wednesday's best and write a full report in the next few days, unless we for some reason don't make it there or the entire experience is simply too dreadful for words, but I doubt that very much.
