An Apple a Day Doesn't...

"It is a beautiful day in the neighbourhood," as Mr. Rogers, the host of a popular children's program, used to say. Sunny skies, green grass, fresh air and birds singing their merry little tunes. What more could a person ask for? I actually ventured outside today in a t-shirt, sandals and no socks, oh the risk-factor of it all. It was only as far as the mailbox, though, a mere hundred yards. To be honest, it's not warm enough to go further than that without wearing a jacket. I guess I'm getting ahead of myself by trying to bring on summer before it's ready to arrive.

Anyhow, it was an innovative way to escape the telemarketers who have been calling as of late. If I don't recognize the number, I just don't answer. I'm often tempted to put on a Spanish accent and say, "no comprende senore...."Of course, they always manage to call when I'm working and in the middle of a computer meltdown, so I don't have time to talk to them if I wanted to, which I don't.

Well, we're prepping ourselves for you guessed it, the Thailand tour. As hoped, I received a new camera as a belated birthday gift. Well, it's not in my hot little hands as of yet, but it's on its way. To make a long story short, it's in transit and should arrive here within the next few days. Other than that, I have to visit the dentist here on Wednesday. Not that I really want to but I kind of owe it to him because he signed my passport application.

Kind of sold my soul to the devil, I guess you could say but I didn't have much of a choice in the matter. It is not that I think he's the devil, really, I'm just saying. My husband is choosing to wait and visit our less expensive dentist in Thailand. That's kind of hilarious, considering last year, he was so against visiting a dentist he didn't know. Now, he can't wait to see him again.

Just because our dentist in Phuket, Thailand is less expensive, it certainly doesn't mean a compromise on quality, no sirree... As I said last year he's more than efficient and has loads of professional experience behind him and state of the art equipment. We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Veranit Haycharoensri, (can't pronounce it either) and his lovely assistant last year for anyone who is worried about trying an out of country dentist, he is wonderful. Check out his City Park Dental Clinic here and all of the accompanying, glowing testimonials from around the globe.
