Party for Planet Earth
This blogging gig is not as easy as it looks. One starts off hoping to write about fascinating, earth shattering topics and by the end of it all, the most interesting topic one can come up with is "taking out the trash."
Sometimes it's difficult to find a topic that gives any meaning at all, but the following one awoke my interest. If you happen to be in Copenhagen tonight and would like to contribute to a good cause, while at the same time having a good time, why not head on over to Camp X Rialto's Nightclub.
That's correct, this event arranged by Playahead & Penguin Army, kills two birds with one stone by mixing pleasure and purpose. You can enjoy a beer, dance and listen to music while you do your part to save the rainforest, all at the same time. What could be more perfect than partying the night away while going green.
This is how it works. Rather than giving a fixed admittance fee, you decide how much money you will give at the door. The entire amount goes to saving the rainforest while at the same time, your generous donation gets you a beer ticket as well. The Dj's performing are Djuna Barnes, Carl Emil, Kid Kishore and Kasper Bjørke, Tomboy, Inspektor, Tom Collins and Røde Henrik.
