I'm Dreamin' of a White Easter
The Easter holidays have arrived here in Denmark with a bang, in the form of snow we would have rather seen at Christmas. Personally, I don't mind it. I think it is bright and cheery, much nicer than the rain. Unfortunately, not all Danes would agree with me as according to reports, many of them have been trying to "eggscape" this Easter holiday by making last minute arrangements to high tail it to the sunny south.
Unfortunately, they are plum out of luck though, as all of the Easter sun fun escapes have sold out ages ago. So, if you happen to be in snowy Copenhagen and are looking for something to do indoors and away from the snow, why not take yourself and your entire family to the various museums. Here they will be conducting various workshops related to Easter traditions and much more.
At Denmark's National Museum they are holding creative workshops on why we celebrate Easter and related craft activities for the children.

The Children's Museum closes at 16:30 p.m. in the weekends.
At the State's Museum for Art there will be design workshops to get the creative juices flowing, where visitors can bring their own clothing and totally revamp it by sewing it into something brand spanking new. A DJ workshop where visitors can learn to mix their own music will also be held here. A lot of the activities are conducted only in the Danish language but it is still possible to follow along and most Danes speak excellent English.
