Leonard Cohen in Copenhagen

Today has felt a bit like being in the twilight zone. It's just been one of those days, not "easy like Sunday morning," by any means. I had to start working at 8:00 a.m. this morning. I couldn't log in. There was something awry with our company's site. Okay, not a major catastrophe, the server was down and wouldn't be up for a few hours. No problem, I thought. I'll just wait it out, maybe do some housecleaning.

Then in the middle of it all, the electricity went out here. It's not too easy to juggle vacuuming, surfing the internet and making coffee with no electricity. I was also in the middle of recharging my phone so it didn't work. I couldn't call anyone to inform them, so I had to borrow a phone. Fortunately, everything is back to normal now, so even though when it rains it pours, in every cloud there is a silver lining, speaking of which.

The incomparable Leonard Cohen is coming to Denmark this summer, specifically to Copenhagen and Århus. Music fans of rock/pop Canadian crooner Leonard Cohen will be pleased to learn that Mr. Cohen himself, who hasn't toured in fifteen years, will be bringing his magical, mystical form of music to Copenhagen and Århus this summer. The tickets go on sale Monday the 17thof March, yes that's tomorrow friends.

This news comes hot on the heels of Leonard's March 10th, 2008 induction into the American Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, along with fellow musicians Madonna, John Mellencamp and other talented folks. Leonard Cohen is one of the most respected singer/songwriters of his time and an inspiration to many new artists as well. His latest album is called Dear Heather (2004).
