Royal Ring is Fish Fodder
Apparently, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark has misplaced his wedding ring. Unfortunately, he didn't just accidentally leave it lying around on the coffee table at home. According to seoghoer.dk, the Prince was on a diving tour in Florida, U.S.A. and it slipped off of his finger. It all happened this past January while the Prince was on a sailing trip off of the North American Coast in Florida. While on a diving expedition there with the firm known as "Captain's Corner," in Key West the ring became lost, amongst the exquisite coral reefs..
The ring is very unique in that besides the fact that it is a symbol of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary's love and dedication to one another, it was also made of the first gold ever found in Greenland. Finding it however, will be much like finding a needle in a haystack.
The ring could be floating around somewhere on the ocean floor, but another theory is that the ring has been gobbled up by one of the many barracudas that swim those waters, as they are attracted to shimmering things. Thus a gold ring would be right up their alley. Apparently, there is no fear as a new ring is here. The Prince has received a replacement ring but I'm sure the Prince and his wife would appreciate the safe return of the original.
P.S. While we are on the topic of losing rings, I lost an opal ring on the main street of Picton, Ontario about ten years ago. So if anyone has seen it I'd appreciate its safe return.
