Second Coming of Neil Young

I promise that this will be my last Neil Young post, maybe... People will start to wonder if I'm some sort of stalker or something. I just had to mention that I found out today that the singer/songwriter will be coming to Denmark yet again, this summer. He will be performing here in July at the largest Northern European music festival, that being the one and only "Roskilde Festival."

Apparently, it will be his only Scandinavia stop this summer so get tickets while the getting is good. Now, if someone can just convince the legendary Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip to perform over here somewhere, sometime then I'll feel right at home. Anyone who is Canadian knows that if you don't like the "Hip" as they are known, then you might as well check your Canadian passport at the door.

Anyhow, what was I talking about? Oh yes, the Roskilde Festival and Neil Young. For more detailed information on ordering tickets, prices and other artists performing at the Roskilde Festival visit their official site. The festival happens this summer between July 3rd and 6th. The warmup for the event begins on June 29th.

Roskilde... I'd love to go one year. A summer rock festival in Northern Europe sounds great.

If you like Canadian rock, check out the CBC Radio 3 podcast (if you aren't already doing so)... cbcradio3.com. I've discovered a lot of great Canadian music there (and heard of a lot of Canadian towns I never knew existed!)
