Oscar Aftermath
Well, it looks like Team Denmark didn't take home any awards last night at the Academy Awards Show. I fell asleep before it all ended. I only watched it up until they announced best short film. When Christian's name wasn't announced for "At Night," also known as "Om Natten," I proceeded to throw bricks through the television screen and so the likelihood of watching the rest of the show was greatly diminished. No, I didn't, I'm just kidding. I'm sure Christian and the gang are lapping it up just being in L.A. and attending the Oscars. Besides that, there's always next year.
I haven't seen any of the films that were nominated so I can't be angry about it. Besides that I thought the French fellow, Philippe Pollet-Villard, who won for best short film seemed rather gracious and charming. Anyhow, now I have a new list of movies I'd like to see, like No Country for Old Men and especially that French one, La Vie En Rose starring best actress winner Marion Cotillard. So, it looks like we have a lot of movie watching to do if we want to catch up before next year's Oscars.
