TV and Book Worms Do Mix
Last night, as planned I participated in the filming of DR's new TV drama/series due to air in 2008 called "Sommer." I think I mentioned it in an earlier post but the long and the short of it is, it's a drama about a family of Doctors with skeletons in their closets.
I gave myself plenty of time to get to the set, stopped off at the post office on the way in order to pick up some much needed vitamins I'd ordered online. I then continued on my merry way to the set location. I arrived an hour and a half too early. One of the production assistants told me the filming location wasn't difficult to find and it wasn't. I don't know why I was in such a panic. In fact I was there in such good time, one of the production people asked me if I was too late. I said no way Mr. too early...(well, I didn't call him Mr.)
I had a little teensie, weensie part as a book worm. It wasn't much of a stretch to be honest. Anyhow, it was being filmed at Forum Copenhagen and there is an actual book convention going on this weekend if you're interested in attending?
It all happens from the 16th to the 18thof November with over 550 authors & accompanying interviews and of course books as far as the eye can see.
