Copenhagen Christmas Parties

Well, I'm having a bit of a mental breakdown so I thought I'd take a break from my non-stop reading and write my blog. Afterwards I'll be going for a walk to the library to pick up more books. Would you like to know what I ate for breakfast? I suspect not, so I'll quit dancing around the subject and get straight to the point.

Last week, I think..( the weeks are ...

Another Day at the Office

Today I worked on the upcoming TV series "Sommer" and had a small part as a book worm again. I wasn't so excited about it because it seemed like I just did this last week? Can you say type cast? It felt a bit like a case of déjà vu.

Anyhow, I have to learn to look up the location before I say yes to these things. Sometimes I forget ...

Christmas Dreams, Copenhagen Style

I'm currently working on a project about globalization and another interesting one about negative family patterns. I'm not sure how these projects are going to end up as they are both looking rather chaotic and non-sensical at the moment. I have been working hard this last week trying to figure out what my point is with both of them which has meant reading, writing and arithmetic. Well, arithmetic as in how ...

TV and Book Worms Do Mix

Last night, as planned I participated in the filming of DR's new TV drama/series due to air in 2008 called "Sommer." I think I mentioned it in an earlier post but the long and the short of it is, it's a drama about a family of Doctors with skeletons in their closets.

I gave myself plenty of time to get to the set, stopped off at the post office on the ...

You Get What You Pay For

There was an election last night here in Denmark. Not much new to report though. Like it or lump it, Anders Fogh Rasmussen and his Liberal Party are back in office. Kudos to them though. They ran a successful election campaign that focused on welfare, immigration and promises of tax cuts.

As for me, today started off with a bang and inevitable computer problems. I wasn't sure if it was a virus (again) ...

CPH:DOX Copenhagen

It is that time of year again for the annual "International Documentary Film Festival," called CPH:Dox. For the fifth year in a row Copenhagen is invaded with 160 films on the program as well as an accompanying kaleidescope of related special events.

What's unique about this event is it is the largest documentary film festival in Scandinavia. Also, this multifaceted festival is not just about films and is characterized with a combination "films ...

Choices and Challenges in Copenhagen

Sometimes in life it is either feast or famine, or in other words when it rains it pours. I have been offered some possibilities but I do not wish to mention what they are before and if they come to fruition. I'm just not counting my eggs before they are hatched as they say.

Someone once said to me,"why is it that sometimes what you want most in this life is not ...

Travel,Trials and Tribulations

Stairs

I've been back from Canada for almost a week and am just starting to get back into the swing of things. I've just been reminiscing though. I am over the aching muscles I endured from my little vacation. (more on that later)

The flight to Canada was pretty uneventful other than the plane was a little late arriving at London's Heathrow. This was a good ...
