Copenhagen Film Festival Reminder
Just a friendly reminder that the Copenhagen Film Festival starts today! For more information read my earlier blog or visit their site. I jumped the gun a bit by posting about it a bit too early.
Speaking of films, I may be involved in some interesting projects but I dare not write about them yet as you never know whether these things materialize or not and then I just end up making a fool of myself. People then say, "Didn't you say...?" To which I answer, "Ya, I did say .....but it didn't work out!" So, it's best not to say anything before the deed is done I've learned. Like a former boss of mine used to say, "Don't count your chickens before they hatch." Thanks Rick, those are words to live by.
Speaking of which, I'll be starting on a fun little side job that I'll not mention as yet because you never know. Besides all of these extra curricular activities, I've been reading, reading and doing more reading. I've started on a Master of Education program and am feeling a little overwhelmed, out of my element etc. I suppose most people feel like that when they start on something new.
I'm also looking into a little 3 day "Calgon take me away" trip to somewhere in Europe. Does anyone remember that Calgon soap commercial? Anyhow, not the point but it involved a woman taking a luxurious bath to escape the stresses of her day to day life.
This time around, my little European adventure will not involve any camping because it's just too darn cold. I'm weighing my options but am leaning towards Venice, Austria or France. Not very specific huh? I'm not sure where, to be honest but I want to stay at a nice hotel, preferably one with a spa and definitely a swimming pool. I'll write a full review of the hotel, activities etc. when and if it all happens.
