Let the Sun Shine In
The summer is coming to an end and I can finally say it. This has been the worst summer for rain I have ever experienced while living over here. Every time I turned around it seemed, it was raining, pouring, the old man was snoring. That's not to say that there weren't blue skies sometimes, there were but they turned grey a little more often than I care to mention.
It's not just a figment of my imagination either. Recent reports suggest that this is the wettest summer in Denmark since 1980. On the up side, everything looks greener than usual and I think it has sent most of the snakes into hiding. Although the poor weather was bad news for the camping sites, reports say that hotel occupancies were up by 8 percent over the same period last year. So, thankfully someone is benefitting from it.
