Ecco Walkathon 2007
If you happen to be in Copenhagen today and are full of energy but are not sure how to use it, how about taking a long walk in support of a good cause? For every kilometre you walk, Ecco shoes will donate 5 Dkr to either the Heart Association, WWF or Street Kids International. You decide which organisation your money will go to.
It all starts at 9:30 a.m. today (Sunday) but if you've overslept, the walk doesn't actually begin until 11:00 a.m so you still have time. This is the ninth year in a row that this event has been held in Copenhagen and over 13 million Danish Crowns has been collected and donated to various charitable organisations around the world.
