My Celebrity Look-Alike?
If you happen to be an avid internet surfer, surely you have stumbled onto this celebrity look-alikes page. Not being one who likes to be left out in the cold, I thought I'd check it all out. If you don't already know you can upload your pics and then the computer does some sort of face analysis and rates which celebrities you resemble most. An 80% or above similarity rate means that you really do look like that person. I don't know about you but I've never really been told I look like any celebrity but when I uploaded my pics and saw who I looked like, I was a little concerned.
According to the site, I resemble Joan Crawford quite a bit. You know the actress from which the film "Mommie Dearest," is based on? The film paints an unflattering picture of the abusive and traumatic adoptive upbringing of Crawford's daughter Christina at the hands of her tormented mother. But it gets worse. I more closely resemble Leonardo Dicaprio and photo model Jordan's husband Peter Andre. Both would be very flattering comparisons if I were a guy. Last time I looked I wasn't.
My husband resembles Jessica Alba at 76%. He likes Jessica Alba a lot but doesn't look like her at all. So I got thinking something is amiss here so I thought I'd upload a few pics of an actual celebrity I have on file, Johnny Depp. I have a few pics of him as I'm a huge fan of his, not afraid to admit it I'm A Deppaholics Anonymous member over at myspace.
So I uploaded his pic and you know what? Johnny Depp looks more like Pierce Brosnan than himself. In fact he resembles Pierce Brosnan at 72% and he resembles Ashley Olsen at 62%. He doesn't look like Johnny Depp at all according to the celebrity look-alike site. So I guess you have to take it all with a grain of salt but if you want a good laugh try it out. It can be an ego maker or ego breaker.
