Fish Fodder

I've finished the hotel fact checking and now it's on to round two and the restaurant double checking phase. Basically, I'm trying to distract myself from it before I attack it full tilt. Denial aint just a river in Egypt, as they say.

I don't know how thrilled the restaurant people are about answering some of these questions but if you were in a wheelchair wouldn't you want to know if there was wheelchair access at the restaurant you were considering dining at? I would suspect yes so this restaurant checking is actually providing an important public service. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

It's going to be a lot of work; therefore I'm putting off the inevitable for a few moments longer and looking through some Thailand photos again. Yeah I know big shock. It's my little escape from reality. I don't believe there is a Thailand blogger here so I don't think I'm stepping on anyone's toes.

These photos were taken while we were on the "Phi Phi" Island tour in Phuket, Thailand. I talked about it in an earlier blog (May) and gave all the pertinent information I believe. It's basically a speed boat tour to a variety of different islands, one of which was where the movie "the Beach," starring Leonardo Dicaprio was filmed. What this tour basically entails is, stopping off at different islands and either lounging on the beach, eating at a restaurant, visiting the monkeys or snorkelling just off of the coast. These photos were taken with one of the inexpensive underwater cameras but get a load of the fishes and the coral. The fish bite so watch the little rascals.
