Confused in Copenhagen

Today, I've been going about my activities like a house on fire. I've been sending out e-mails, sending snail mail, preparing to make a dozen phone calls, all the while wondering, why is it so dang quiet? Then I had an aha moment.

Today is a national holiday! It's "Grundlovsdag," a half work/free day (after noon) for many Danes in recognition of the Danish Constitution Act. According to ekstrabladet.dk there is some confusion with the busses and trains that make their way around the country. Depending on where you are, some busses are driving after the Saturday and Sunday schedule while others are treating today like it's a regular weekday.

I can understand the confusion, you see because a few years ago we forgot about the holiday and went to work anyhow. It took ages to get there and it was all in vain anyhow as there was no work, so don't make that mistake!

If you are in Copenhagen, DSB are driving after their Saturday plan. Movia is most confusing it seems, as some busses are following the Saturday plan while others are treating today like normal weeday and driving as such. However, it looks like in Copenhagen they are driving after the Sunday and holiday schedule.
