Fish Fodder

photo15_11a.jpg photo28_24a.jpg photo26_22a.jpg

I've finished the hotel fact checking and now it's on to round two and the restaurant double checking phase. Basically, I'm trying to distract myself from it before I attack it full tilt. Denial aint just a river in Egypt, as they say.

I don't know how thrilled the restaurant people are about answering some of these questions ...

Justin Timberlake - like everywhere else on planet earth - sure is popular here in Denmark. He held a long awaited concert in "Parken" (The Park) in Copenhagen last night (Saturday evening) where there were over 55,000 adoring fans itching to see him.

Reportedly the line-up was so long that some fans didn't even enter the stadium before the show was well under way. According to ekstrabladet.dk fans paid almost 500 Danish Crowns (nearly $100 ...

Yipee The Witch is Dead

The tradition of placing a handmade witch on top of the bonfire occurred in remembrance of the church's witchburnings from the 15 to 16 hundreds. This burning apparently sends the ...

Elephant Nature Park

I’m all of a sudden super busy again. I basically haven’t seen the light of day over the last week because I’m doing some vital hotel fact checking. It’s important to know if there’s an elevator or a fitness centre in a hotel, it really is. It’s cooled down here in Denmark, so much so that some people are wearing jackets. The excruciating heat from a few weeks back was ...

Thailand, More than a Tan

Karon Beach, ThailandThe great thing about travelling is that you come back with more knowledge and understanding than you could ever read in a book. It involves all of the senses and therefore it makes a huger impact. When we went to Thailand, I thought first and foremost it would be exciting to visit a place where I'd never been before. Then I thought about the nice ...

I Fought the Law and the Law Won

Today, I'm officially saying farewell to a near and dear friend. One who I'd thought would be with me through thick and thin, through richer and through poorer till death do us part. I'm speaking of course about my hijacked yahoo e-mail account.  It doesn't look like I'll be permitted access to it anytime soon. In fact I'll be waiting till H.E. double hockey sticks freezes over. I don't know. ...

Cecilie Flew over the Cookoo's Nest in Copenhagen

Most movie goers love a psychological thriller. If you happen to be in Copenhagen and are interested in taking in a Danish film which showcases some of Denmark's best talent, why not catch the new thriller "Cecilie." I've not seen it myself but plan to. It looks blood curdling and stars Denmark's own lovely and talented Sonja Richter. Sonja plays the starring role Cecilie and her husband Mads is played ...
