Strike at Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen
I sure hope that you don't have a flight in or out of Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen today. If you do you'll probably be playing the waiting game. 10,000 SAS airline customers are affected by the airline flight attendant's strike that started yesterday and continues today.
Chaos is the name of the game at Kastrup Airport where 400 passengers had to sleep over at the airport because there simply aren't enough available hotel rooms to accommodate so many stranded passengers.
According to extrabladet.dk, the strike forced SAS to cancel 113 departures Tuesday and so far there are 16 cancelled today. The flight attendants are striking in protest against their pending contract. They'll be meeting up at 10:00 am today to discuss whether the strike should continue or not.
