Hot Doggin it in Copenhagen

Hot Doggin it in CopenhagenIf you are in the mood for a fast, inexpensive meal check out Copenhagen's famous hotdogs. "Pølsevognene" or "sausage wagons," are scattered about all over Copenhagen.  These world famous hotdogs are very popular with Danes and tourists alike.  Many hotdog carts are privately owned and are open until the wee hours of the morning.

Toppings include chopped raw onion, crispy fried onions and pickles. Choose between a variety of sauces such as ketchup, hot mustard, sweet mustard and remoulade.  At a cost of about 20 danish crowns, it makes for a cheap, nutritious meal. Well, nutritious I don't know, but they taste great.
