Happy Almost New Year from Copenhagen!

Hello everyone. I hope you have an exciting New Year's Eve planned. If you don't and happen to be in the Copenhagen area check out the fireworks display in the heart of the city's town square (Rådhuspladsen). P.S. don't forget earplugs.   If you want to be a stones throw away from all of the action you should check out the nightclub Celcius. Here there are panorama views over Rådhuspladsen. The meal consists of a starter of salmon and scallops on a salad with a delightful cream sauce. The main course is veal filet served with potatoes and thyme sauce. Dessert is red wine poached pears served with vanilla ice-cream and coffee. Red and white wine, beer and water are also included. The total cost for this dinner delight is 950 crowns. Entrance after midnight costs 175 crowns, 200 crowns if you don’t buy in advance and includes house music.

Where: Address: Celcius, Rådhuspladsen 16
When: 17.30 - 05:00 am.
How: Tickets at info@celcius.dk

As for yours truly, I have nothing much planned except a relaxing, quiet dinner with the in-laws. Anyhow, I don't know about you people but I have a few New Year's Resolutions. The annual, if you don't have anything good to say about anyone don't say anything at all. I'd like to start on a Master's Degree Program, work on more films and travel more. Speaking of which, I'm heading to Cape Verde in February.  I'll be blogging from there. Hopefully, I can upload photos of folks frolicking in the surf and sand. Apparently, there's some sort of surfing competition going on during this month so I'll probably stalk them a bit. In the meantime, I plan on writing about the top ten things to see and do in Copenhagen and much more. See you in 2007!
