Welcome to Copenhagen!
Hello and welcome to “Copenhagen Blogger”. Let me introduce myself, my name is Jennifer Wattam Klit. As an educator, travel writer and film person I am constantly in pursuit of new ways of seeing and describing the world around me. My intention with this blog is to bring you up to date information on cool things to see and do in and around Denmark's capital city "Copenhagen." Any comments and suggestions are most welcome. However, I am hoping not to hear the ever popular question “Copenhagen, isn’t that the capital of Sweden?” No! It’s the Capital of Denmark...ugh!..Oh well..
Anyhow, to make a long story short, I signed up for this blog on www.hotelsbycity.net in order to provide travelers with a multifaceted angle on the Copenhagen scene. I also hope to provide an insight into the people and culture of Denmark as well as information on all the sights and sounds. I'm learning something new about Copenhagen everyday and I hope you will continue on this adventure with me and hopefully, if you are visiting “Wonderful Copenhagen” you will really get to see all the city has to offer.
Copenhagen is a cocktail of varied cultures and is frequented by tourists from all corners of the world. There are various types of tourists here, from the backpacker, a family on their way to Tivoli Gardens, to business executives roaming about. However, my goal is to provide information that everyone can use. Having been fortunate to travel extensively all over Europe and see many major European cities, I have to say that I think Copenhagen is special and has a lot to offer. I will be detailing these in my future blogs. Stay tuned.
