Seriously.  Enter One.  The are scattered about the city shelling out cheap good beer and sausages.  You'll feel like home. (If you are Bavarian.)  Soak in the rays while meeting new people.  You can even bring your own drinks.

My suggestions are for the ones located in Letna park and Riegrovy Savy.

One of the few good, cheap and authentic exceptions I found is the Bosna Grill.  I get the pleasure of eating a Ćevapčići or other Balkan meat fest in the heart of Prague's bohemian area.

Fine. I'm in a landlocked country. Maybe there is no ocean anywhere nearby, but at least I can have the comfort of laying next to running water. And with a few exceptions, where else can I do that and get a view of a castle.

Střelecký Ostrov (Island) sits in the middle of Prague with the Vltava River flowing calmly around it. People take out paddle boats from there and sit downtown without being bombarded by the tourist horde. They occasionally host festivals from this place, however I prefer it as a tranquil retreat from the chaos of uhhh life.

Check it out, bring a beer and relax.

Cheap beer. Extremely cheap beer. Extremely cheap good beer.

Well that is one of the first things that people think of when one thinks of Prague. The fact that it is 100% true should not dull your senses to the other great things about Prague.

The Czech Republic’s capital is a captivating maze of great architecture, never-ending nightlife and bohemian absurdity. I suggest sampling some of the aforementioned beers and wonder about to find something that amazes you.

I took just that advice the other day and found quite a site.

From almost any part of the city, locals and visitors can get a good look at the TV tower in Žižkov. Unlike most other cities phallic displays of self-achievement, Prague’s TV has a unique twist.

It’s covered with giant babies.

Though I have been underneath this beautiful work of insanity previously, it was my first time at sunset. The view was amazing. Calm and comfortable, I looked up at the giant faceless infants on all fours. Though I didn’t grasp what the artists intentions were, I certainly felt overwhelmed by its presence.

So the next time you are in Prague, drink up that extremely cheap good beer. Wander about the city. Find that great site and let the beer-fueled clarity open your eyes to an awesome site like the TV tower.
