See the Danube by Boat in Vienna

Evening Cruise and Grand Danube River Cruise participants travel through the Danube Canal locks.
For an aquatic sightseeing tour of Vienna, consider taking a trip aboard one of the small DDSG Blue Danube ships. There are three options available for Vienna boat tours, the Danube Round Trip Cruise, Evening Cruise, and Grand Danube Cruise. The Danube Round Trip Cruise costs 12 euro per person and sights include the famous ferris wheel (Riesenrad) in the Prater amusement park and the Danube Tower (Donauturm). The Danube Round Trip tour departs and returns from the Reichsbruecke Danube bridge near the Vorgartenstrasse U1 metro station. Scheduled Round Trip tours are available daily at 1:45pm and 3:15pm, Friday through Sunday. Evening tours depart from the Schwedenplatz area of the Danube Canal at 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays throughout July and August. Boarding passes for Evening Cruises cost 15 euro per person and include a trip through the historic Nussdorf canal lock. Tour duration is 2.5 hours.
The Grand Danube River Cruise costs 18 euro per person and encompasses the major sights along the Danube Canal as well as a cottage-speckled section of the Danube River. Passengers get a great view of the Hundertwasser House from the water, a trip through the historic canal lock, and a look at Vienna's picturesque garbage treatment facility (Fernwaerme Wien). Grand Danube River Cruises depart from Schwedenplatz at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, and 3pm through August. Tours also depart from Reichsbruecke at 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 4pm, and 5pm throughout August. Tour duration is 3+ hours. Food and refreshments are available on board all of the ships and boarding time is approximately 20 minutes before scheduled departure.
